What information we collect

We collect information you give us when you register and play, information that is created as you use your account, and information your device sends to us automatically. We collect only what we need to run your account, keep the site safe and meet the duties placed on us as the holder of a gaming licence.

Account details

  • Your full name, date of birth and residential address.
  • Your e-mail address and, where you give one, a contact telephone number.
  • Your username, password and the security details used to recover access to your account.
  • Your currency, language and contact preferences, including whether you have opted in to marketing.

Identity and verification documents

Before you can withdraw, and at other points while your account is open, we ask for documents so that we can confirm who you are and that you are old enough to play. This usually includes photographic identification, proof of your address, proof that a payment method belongs to you and, where the law requires it, information about the source of the funds you are using. We also keep the outcome of the checks run for us by our verification partners.

Transactions and account activity

  • Deposits, withdrawals, pending payments and reversed payments.
  • Masked payment details, such as the last digits of a card or the reference of an e-wallet.
  • Game play, stakes, winnings, bonus credit and the terms attached to it.
  • Deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, time-outs and self-exclusion requests.
  • Messages you send us by e-mail or live chat, and the notes we make when we answer them.

Device and usage data

  • Your IP address and the approximate location it indicates.
  • Your device type, operating system, browser and screen settings.
  • Dates and times of logins, pages opened and features used.
  • Identifiers set by cookies and similar technologies in your browser.

Why we use your information

We use your personal information for a defined set of purposes. We do not use it for anything incompatible with those purposes without telling you first.

  1. Running your account - registering you, processing deposits and withdrawals, applying bonuses and dealing with your questions and complaints.
  2. Confirming your age and identity - making sure that nobody under 18 holds an account and that the details you gave us are correct.
  3. Preventing fraud and money laundering - checking payments and play patterns for signs of fraud, collusion, account takeover or the misuse of funds.
  4. Meeting our legal duties - keeping the records we are required to keep and responding to lawful requests from the authorities.
  5. Protecting players - monitoring for signs that gambling may be causing harm, and applying the limits, time-outs and self-exclusions you set.
  6. Sending offers you opted into - e-mail, SMS or on-site messages about promotions, which you can stop at any time.
  7. Improving the site - understanding which pages and features are used, and fixing faults.

Marketing is always your choice

You can turn marketing off in the contact preferences shown in your account, by using the unsubscribe option in any message, or by writing to us. Turning marketing off does not affect service messages about your account, such as payment confirmations or changes to our terms.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is needed for the purposes above, and only with recipients who are bound to keep it secure and to use it for the purpose we have agreed with them.

  • Payment providers - banks, card processors and e-wallet services, so that deposits and withdrawals can be completed.
  • Identity-verification and fraud-prevention partners - specialist suppliers who confirm your details against reliable sources and flag unusual activity.
  • Technology suppliers - the companies that host our systems, provide the games and support our live chat and e-mail tools.
  • Regulators, the police and tax or law-enforcement authorities - where we are required to disclose information, or where disclosure is necessary to prevent or detect crime.
  • Professional advisers and auditors - where they need the information to advise us or to check that we are meeting our obligations.

Where we take part in a multi-operator self-exclusion scheme, your self-exclusion is shared with that scheme so it can be applied across the operators that belong to it. If support services such as GamCare, GambleAware, GamStop or the National Gambling Helpline are involved, we share only what is necessary and lawful.

If a recipient is based outside the United Kingdom, we make sure the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, so that your information keeps an equivalent level of protection.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is open, and then for the period the law requires us to retain gambling, payment and anti-money-laundering records. We do not keep anything longer than we need to.

  • Account and transaction records are retained for the retention period set by the regulations that apply to us, counted from the closure of your account.
  • Verification documents are kept for as long as the rules on identity checks require, then deleted.
  • Self-exclusion records are kept for the minimum period set by the relevant scheme and our own rules, and cannot be deleted at your request during that period.
  • Marketing preferences are kept so that we can prove you consented, and so that we do not contact you again after you opt out.
  • Support messages and complaint files are kept for as long as needed to settle the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Accounts are for over-18s only

Gambling with us is restricted to people aged 18 or over. If we find that an account has been opened by someone under 18, we close it, return any deposits in line with our terms and keep only the records we are obliged to hold.

Your rights, cookies and how to contact us

Under UK data protection law you have rights over the information we hold about you. Some of them are limited where we must keep records for legal or regulatory reasons, and we will explain if that applies.

  • Access - ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction - ask us to put right anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erasure - ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep.
  • Objection and restriction - object to uses based on our legitimate interests, or ask us to pause a use while a question is settled.
  • Portability - ask for the information you gave us in a commonly used electronic format.
  • Withdrawing consent - stop marketing at any time, without affecting messages about your account.

To use any of these rights, write to us at support@casinocasiku.co.uk or privacy@casinocasiku.co.uk, or open live chat on the site. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else. We answer within the time limit set by law and tell you if we need longer because the request is complex.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the United Kingdom's data protection authority. We would prefer you to raise the matter with us first so that we can look into it.

We and our suppliers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your settings, measure how the site is used and, where you allow it, to tailor the offers you see; you can manage your choices through the cookie settings on the site or in your browser, and the full details are set out in our Cookie Policy.

We may update this policy as our services or our legal duties change. The current version is always shown on this page, and we tell you about significant changes before they take effect.
