Our commitment to safer gambling
Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to earn money or to deal with debt, stress or low mood. Our games are games of chance, the odds favour the house over time, and any money you stake should be money you can afford to lose.
We ask every player to decide on a budget before playing and to treat that budget the way you would treat the cost of a night out. Setting a limit in advance is far easier than deciding to stop in the middle of a session.
This site is for adults aged 18 or over. We hold a gaming licence, we verify the identity and age of every account holder, and we close any account opened by someone underage and return their deposits.
- Play with money you can afford to lose, never with money set aside for rent, bills or food.
- Set a deposit limit before you start rather than after a losing session.
- Take regular breaks and keep track of how long you have been playing.
- Never chase losses. Raising your stakes to win money back usually increases the loss.
- Do not play when you are upset, under pressure or have been drinking.
Gambling is 18+
You must be 18 or over to hold an account or play any game here. We carry out age and identity checks and may ask for documents at any time.
The tools in your account
Every account includes a set of safer gambling controls. They are free, they take effect as soon as you confirm them, and you never need to give a reason for using one. You will find them in the safer gambling area of your account, and our live chat team can walk you through them.
| Tool | What it does | How it takes effect |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Caps what you can deposit over a day, a week or a month. | A tighter limit applies straight away; a looser one only after a cooling-off period. |
| Loss limit | Caps the net amount you can lose over a period you choose. | Tighter at once, looser only after a delay and a second confirmation. |
| Session limit | Ends your session once you have been logged in for the time you set. | Applies from your next login. |
| Reality check | Shows an on-screen reminder of how long you have played and where you stand. | At the interval you choose, until you change it. |
| Time-out | Locks your account for a short, fixed break. | Immediately, and it cannot be lifted early. |
| Self-exclusion | Closes your account to play for a longer fixed period. | Immediately, and it cannot be lifted early. |
Deposit, loss and session limits
You choose both the amount and the period, in the cashier or in your account settings. A request to make a limit stricter is applied as soon as you confirm it. A request to relax or remove a limit is held for a cooling-off period and then has to be confirmed a second time, so that a decision taken in the heat of the moment cannot be undone in the same moment.
Time-outs and self-exclusion
A time-out is a short break: you stay registered, but you cannot deposit or play until it ends. Self-exclusion is longer and firmer. While you are self-excluded we close your account to play, stop sending you marketing and will not accept a new registration from you. Neither can be cancelled early, and neither affects your right to withdraw a balance that is already yours, subject to the usual checks.
Switching a tool on
- Log in and open the safer gambling section of your account.
- Choose the control you want: a deposit, loss or session limit, a reality check, a time-out or self-exclusion.
- Set the amount or the length of time, then confirm.
- Check the confirmation we send to the e-mail address on your account.
- If you cannot find a control, or want help choosing one, message live chat or write to support@casinocasiku.co.uk.
Not sure where to start?
Begin with a deposit limit. It is the simplest control, it works across every game, and you can tighten it at any time.
Signs that gambling may be a problem
Problem gambling develops gradually, and it shows in habits rather than in any single session. Go through the list below honestly. If several points sound familiar, it is worth speaking to one of the organisations in the next section.
- You spend more money, or more time, than you planned to.
- You gamble to win back money you have lost.
- You borrow money, sell belongings or use money meant for bills in order to gamble.
- You hide how much you gamble from family, friends or colleagues.
- You feel restless, anxious or irritable when you try to cut down.
- Gambling comes before work, study, family or things you used to enjoy.
- You gamble to escape worry, loneliness or low mood.
No single point on its own means you have a gambling problem, and asking for help early is not an overreaction. Support is free, confidential and available whether or not you decide to stop.
Where to get help
The organisations below are not part of our business and charge nothing for their help. You can contact them whether or not you have told anyone else about your gambling.
- GamStop is the free national self-exclusion scheme for Great Britain: one registration blocks you from gambling with every online operator licensed here, for the period you choose.
- GamCare offers free counselling, group sessions and treatment to anyone affected by gambling, including partners and family members.
- GambleAware funds and signposts treatment across the country and publishes clear information on the risks of gambling and on where support can be found.
- The National Gambling Helpline is open around the clock and gives free, confidential advice by telephone and live chat, both to players and to the people close to them.
If you would like us to take a step on your behalf, such as closing your account or applying a limit for you, message live chat or write to support@casinocasiku.co.uk and we will act on it without asking for an explanation.
Protecting children and young people
Nobody under 18 may register, deposit or play with us. We verify the age and identity of every account holder, we repeat those checks where our procedures require it, and we may ask for documents at any time.
Most underage gambling starts with an adult's device or an adult's account, so a few household habits matter as much as the checks we run on our side.
- Keep your username, password and payment details to yourself, and do not save them in a shared browser.
- Log out fully rather than leaving a session open on a phone, tablet or family computer.
- Protect every device with a passcode or biometric lock that children do not know.
- Use parental control or filtering software to block gambling sites on devices children use; such software is widely available for computers, phones and home networks.
- Talk to children about why gambling is restricted to adults.
If a child has used your account
Tell us through live chat or at support@casinocasiku.co.uk as soon as you can. We will suspend the account, look into what happened and return any deposits made by the underage player.
